BRAND + GRAPHIC + WEB DESIGN
THE RESULT: The branding was built around IBC's relationship with the Provincial and Federal governments, and they wanted to be government friendly. They also wanted to show the 3 areas of P&C Home, Car and Business insurance. We used 3 beams of light to symbolize a shedding of light on these 3 focal points. We purposely set the type in a serif font that is conservative and government friendly.
THE CLIENT: IBC is the Insurance Bureau of Canada. Established in 1964, Insurance Bureau of Canada is the national industry association representing Canada’s private home, car and business insurers. Its member companies represent 90% of the property and casualty (P&C) insurance market in Canada.
THE CHALLENGE: We were asked to redesign the IBC brand, design of a new logo and graphics guidelines as well as design templates to guide all print and electronic communications. We were also charged with designing brands for their out reach programs: Be Smart Be Safe, Click on This and The Dumb Car.
